Wool Classics hand made rugs

Volume 1 encompasses a varied selection of both the dramatic and the subtle; finely knotted wool and silk combinations create a unique and versatile range of elegant, yet highly useable area carpets and rugs.

All pieces are individually hand dyed and knotted to order in Kathmandu, using traditional weaving techniques passed down through generations of highly skilled craftspeople; each rug being a truly individual work of art.

This collection includes but a small taste of the numerous design and colour possibilities available when using hand made rugs from Wool Classics.

'RUGMARK'

RUGMARK is an organisation that has been established in Nepal to help ensure that carpet production is conducted free from child labour and in an environment condusive to the wellbeing of all employees – the official RUGMARK will only be issued to manufacturers that adhere to the strict guidelines in place.

Wool Classics fully support this organization and therefore all our hand knotted rugs carry this important label.
